Making Her Big Debut

Alright, I know you out of towners or those who don't get to see Brenley very often have been wanting to see our big girl walk. So here she is making her big debut...Brenley "The Walker" Buster!

Twas the Night Before Elections

'Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down

I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day

He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart

"On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi"
He screamed at the pairs

They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight

So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DON'T WANT SOCIALISM -
GET OUT AND VOTE!

(I stole this from my friend Shanon...thanks Shannon!) This is not a place for debate, so please no negative comments if you disagree.

We've Got a Walker in the House

That's right...Brenley is officially a WALKER!!! She's been walking here and there for a couple of weeks now, but her main mode of transportation was crawling. Now she's crossed over into the world of walking most places. She still struggles to stand up in the middle of the room, so she will crawl to something to pull herself up on, then walk. She's so cute when she walks. She's so proud of herself, but it's probably because her Mommy and Daddy make a HUGE deal of it when she walks. She buries her head into our shoulders and smiles...it's the cutest thing we've ever seen!
We are so proud of our little 11 month old. She's so big!!!

Look How Much They've Grown

I had both the girls on the floor today, tickling them. It brought back memories of Macy's first day with us back in February. I had them laying on our bed back then and snapped a few photos of the two new friends. Now, MANY months later, they have grown so much!!! They change every day, it's so fun to be a part of Macy's life and to watch their relationship develop :)
11 Months Old (Well, Macy will be 11 mo soon)

Softball Champs

Al started playing in a softball league this fall with our church. He has really enjoyed playing and it helps that he was on a pretty good team. Last night was the playoffs. They barely beat our friends on the Grey team. Then they played the Beer team (obviously not one of the church's teams, but is in the Grapevine league) for the championship. They won!!! Way to go Black team!

Happy Fall Ya'll

We took Brenley to a pumpkin patch yesterday. There's a great pumpkin patch in Flower Mound, but since she's not really into the pumpkins yet, we decided to go to a small one down the street and save the good one, that's quite a ways away, for next year. She loves being outside and she had fun walking from pumpkin to pumpkin. Most of all, she loved eating the grass. She looked cute doing it though :)

Eating Grass
This was our best attempt at a family picture. We haven't taken a good picture of the three of us since March...sad.
Even puppy got in on the pumpkin action. Such a trooper (he got a bath today!!!)
