Beautiful Babies

I Love My Beautiful Babies!!!

My First 5K

I ran in my first 5K a few weeks ago. Our church hosted it and I signed up thinking I would just walk and have fun. But Al's sister Alice decided to come in from Abilene and run it. She has been running for a while now and has competed in quite a few 5Ks so she showed me the ropes and she encouraged me to run as much as I could. So, I ran and I did pretty well, a lot better than I thought I would. I see why people do these things all the time. It was a lot of fun!

My sweet family was there to cheer me on! It was such an encouragement to see them around the corner.

Alice and I after the race.
Blowing kisses to my family as I run by,

I hope to do another one soon. I would like to actually like to run the whole thing sometime :)

Mothers Day Camping Trip

This year we got to go camping with some friends over Mothers Day weekend. We had such a great time and the weather was perfect!

The kids had a blast! They played so hard!

The lake had a beach and I think they would have stayed there all day but us Mamas were hot!

Look how happy they are!
This was the girl's time to play on a beach and Bren loved it! It took Brooklyn a while to warm up to it. But I think they are going to love going to Unlce Jim and Aunt Kelly's this fall!

Brooklyn had a blast!

Look at that precious belly pooching out :)

Bren walked around barefoot the whole time. She's one tough little girl.

Al caught a few fish and cleaned them up to grill out that night. The kids got a a biology lesson while watching.

Smores were a hit! Look at those happy faces!

Yummy!

This is a picture we took at the end of the day. I know it's hard to tell but they are filthy!!! Dirt and sand and smores, but they don't mind at all :)

We had a great time Thomases and Baxleys!

The 11 Hour Surprise

We have been planning for months to take a trip up to St.Louis to surprise my sister for her 30th birthday. She's not a big fan of surprises and her husband knows this. So he planned a little party for her and told her all that was going to to happen. He just left out of minor detail...that 7 of her family members had driven 11 hours to surprise her for her birthday.

The surprise went off perfectly. She had no idea. Phillip had already planned out where everyone was going to sleep and we brought lots of food so she didn't have to worry about much. It was perfect.

We had a great time in Eureka. It was so fun to get to meet their friends that they love so much and to see a little glimpse of their lives.

Al didn't get to go because he had baseball so the girls and I rode with my Dad and my Mom and Danny, Amber and Hudson all wrode together.

This was a lunch break at Quick Trip.

Sweet Hudson was a great traveler!

Nap Time!!!

One day while we were there we went to a store called Dickey Bubs and saw their baby chicks. Fun!

Then we went to Purina Famrs to see lots of animals and check out a dog show.

Paintently waiting. All the baby boys hanging out together.
