Easter

We had a wonderful Easter! Easter is such a wonderful holiday that brings joy to my heart. It's so fabulous to celebrate our risen Lord. And it makes it even better to share that with my girls. Brenley has been so into Easter this year. She talks about Jesus all the time and how he died on the cross for our sins and then rose again. Then she shouts, "Jesus is ALIVE!!!" There is nothing better than seeing my daughter grasp how amazing our Jesus is!

This year we went to church on Saturday night. I loved it because it spread out Easter just a little bit longer.

We tried and tried to get a good picture of the girls but this was the best we could do. They LOVED their Easter dresses and felt like princesses. Brenley has been asking all week if she could wear her twirly dress again. I think it's her new favorite.

Only one person looking at the camera, but it's still good to me :)


Sunday we went to my parent's house for a delicious lunch. We had a sweet group with my parents, Danny and Amber and our friends the Thomases. It was a wonderful day!

After lunch we had an Easter egg hunt. The kids had a ball!

Bren was into it and was running full speed after those eggs!


Brooklyn was precious at her first egg hunt. She took her time but loved every minute of it.
She was so sweet to stop and pose for the camera a few times.

After nap time when we got home we had a wonderful day outside. The girls had a blast riding their bikes with Daddy. Every time with Daddy is a good time!
